GSM Voice End-to-End Delay Optimization Analysis

Overview
      This product can implement not only the classified statistical analysis for end-to-end user perception delay of core network, but also the local customized report output and even the alarm processing of key indicators. By the overall analysis on the end-to-end user perception delay, it is possible to improve the network maintenance quality and efficiency, and enhance the user perception satisfaction.

      ZCTT divides the end-to-end connecting process of voice service into 7 key steps, so as to perform the distributed statistic analysis of call setup delay, analyze the difference of each delay and recommended value and find out the key factor affecting the delay.

      The 7 key signaling processes include calling access request, calling authentication calling assignment, core network signaling called paging, called authentication and called assignment. Due to the “calling access request process” is wireless signaling process, it is analyzed by the drive test rather than this product, so this product just makes the delay statistical analysis for the other 6 signaling processes. As the network elements from different factories and their different configurations in different areas in the existing network, the signaling connecting processes of the voice service is different and the definition rule for each signaling process is different either. The end-to-end delay analysis platform can identify the local signaling process automatically and divide the end-to-end result process as per different definition rules according to different signaling processes.

      Since supporting localized customization and flexible configuration, the end-to-end delay optimization analysis product can provide the specific analysis service for users, find out and solve hidden network faults and improve the user service perception.


Solution
      The associated technology of end-to-end call setup delay analysis uses the CDR records of existing monitoring system to associate multi-interface and –service signaling process of the calling MO signaling process of one call (BSSAP and RANAP), intelligent network signaling process triggered by calling user, intelligent network signaling process triggered by called user, routing information signaling process sent by the core network, BICC signaling process of the core network and called MT signaling process (BSSAP and RANAP) to form an end-to-end integrated CDR.

      The backfilling technologies of ZCTT can accurately backfill key information like TMSI, IMSI, MSISDN and IMEI, to realize the representation of the real user information in the end-to-end integrated CDR.
