NetCompass-PS Monitoring System

Product Overview
NetCompass-PS monitoring system can be extensively applied to PS domain of wireless access network and core network under PSTN/PLMN/NGN network architecture, completely enabling signaling monitoring and telecommunication services analysis, such as local network voice services, domestic long-distance voice services, international long-distance voice services, intelligent network services, SMS services, 3G voice/video phone services, VoIP services, MMS services, and WAP network services etc.

The system collects various signaling links by high impedance adapter, LanSwitch mirror, TAP, optical splitter, makes protocol decoding and CDR synthesis, and displays the entire service processes, thus making statistics of network and services indicators, it is convenient for network maintenance personnel to master the running of network and services.

Product Features
1. Efficiency
Probes, signaling decoding and records synthesis devices, are deployed at remote machine room, which efficiently save operators' transmission bandwidth between the remote sites and center sites. Based on open architecture and advanced software technologies, it can provide operators with quick development environment for new requirements.

2. High reliability
Software uses distributed processing architecture to effectively cope with large concurrent data reading and writing.
Probes run on the stable Linux operating system, and servers run on the stable Linux or Solaris operating system, so 7*24 hours continuous operation of devices can be guaranteed. With embedded multi-core and multi-threading data synthesis mechanism, synthesis software can ensure the processing capacity of massive data.

3. Smooth evolution
With open platform architecture, system is compatible with lower version applications and supports the monitoring toward NGN, GSM, GPRS, WCDMA, HSPA and CDMA networks.

4. Security
The collection access modes adopts high impedance adpater, LanSwitch mirror, TAP and optical splitter, so will not influence the running of the monitored network.
